So Far So Good

Last night was an 8:30 pm to 5:30 am. And at that point Emma ate then went back to sleep until after 7:30. Ahhhh....I'm hoping that 8 months is the magical age of sleep...for her AND for me. She went to bed at close to 9:00 tonight, but tomorrow will be an early morning since we need to have Em dropped off at daycare just a little bit before 7:30 in order to make it up to District Conference (in Mt. Vernon) before 9:00 am. I feel bad that she's going to have to eat so many bottles tomorrow, AND I think this will be the longest I've been apart from my babe since she was born, so I'm fairly certain I'm going to MISS HER! Thankfully we don't have anything happening tomorrow night, so we can just come home and have playtime.

Today was a happy day. I didn't see Em for a good chunk of the time (worked on preparing for Art Adventure camp which starts tomorrow -- took 6 hours!), but she was good for Dad and was super sweet during the times I DID get to spend with her. Oh, how she loves her baths now! I like having that as part of the bedtime ritual. She just has so much fun wiggling in the water, chewing on her rubber duckie, and splashing. Something else she's learned to do is make clicking/smacking sounds with her tongue, which is absolutely adorable. Grandma and Grandpa, who are coming this weekend for another visit, are going to love it! She grows more and more fun every day.
